BCS

The BCS Group is an Italian group whose business is divided into two main groups: the agricultural equipment sector for tillage and mowing technology (brand names: BCS, FERRARI, PASQUALI) and the industrial machinery sector (brand name: MOSA). The origins of BCS date back to the 1940s, when the young engineer Luigi Castoldi opened a small business in the town of Abbiategrasso near Milan. Castoldi's aim was to make the arduous work of the local farmers easier with motorised machines. The BCS company initially constructed motorised mowers and other motorised machines for soil cultivation and was quickly successful. By 1960, the number of mowers sold since the company was founded had already exceeded the 100,000 mark. The following decades saw a further sharp increase in sales figures for BCS and a significant expansion of the product range with innovative machines.

The BCS company today

Today, the BCS Group is a multinational corporation that is represented in over 100 countries. The company employs over 800 people and its production centres are located in Abbiategrasso, Cusago (Lombardy) and Luzzara (Emilia-Romagna). BCS is managed by Fabrizio Castoldi, the son of the company founder. Research and optimisation of all product lines continues to be a central component of the company's orientation. Another focus is on the continuous improvement of safety and environmental protection in all areas. The motorised mower product area, which made a significant contribution to the success of BCS when the company was founded, continues to be an important product sector.

BCS motorised mowers with ESM technology

BCS motorised mowers are available in different versions for specific mowing tasks. Performance, reliability, safety and comfort have been optimised for all models in the product range. These high standards, which BCS sets for all components, also include the use of high-quality cutterbar technology. In this extremely important area, BCS also relies on quality products from ESM, for example. The double knives, finger bars, universal and municipal bars with mower knives and mower knife blades from Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik fulfil the high demands that BCS places on the components of its motor mowers in every respect. Safety, mowing comfort and high cutting performance characterise BCS machines and have secured them market leadership in the field of motorised mowing.
