Join us, as soon as possible, as Team Leader Development Department (m/f/d) in the context of age succession
Your tasks:
- Independent management and coordination of the development/design department
- Developing new ideas for innovative products and manufacturing processes as well as service and maintenance components for oscillating mower technology
- Active development, testing and support of customer-specific application solutions and internal product development projects with the sales department
- Technical support and further development of oscillating mower technology systems for the areas of landscaping, agricultural and special technologies as well as further development of the original spare parts system
- Development of service and maintenance components to increase customer satisfaction
- Supervision of tool and fixture production in the area of mechanical and forging production for the above-mentioned areas
- Supervision of prototype construction including field test support
- Cost-conscious design in compliance with current standards and guidelines in close coordination with internal departments
- Active acquisition and support of research and development projects in co-operation with science and industry
- Intensive system support, administration, expansion and optimisation of networked systems (CAD, GAIN, ERP, EDM data communication)
- Supporting the purchasing department in managing the extended workbench and component procurement
- Management of the patent system
- Continuous internal process optimisation and implementation of cost reduction initiatives
- Close cooperation and coordination with all supporting departments such as sales, financial accounting, design, AV, costing and production management
- Supporting the warranty and complaints system
- Organisation, participation and visits to trade fairs/exhibitions
- Ongoing creation and maintenance of assembly and user instructions in German and English as well as creation of safety-related documentation
- Representing the interests of our company in the technical standards committee of the VDMA for the feasibility of DIN/standards
Your profile:
- You have a Master's degree in engineering, preferably in the field of "Mobile Machinery" or "Design Engineering / General Mechanical Engineering" or "Agricultural Engineering" or a comparable degree
- You have sound knowledge and experience in the field of "development management" including management responsibility
- You enjoy the further development and optimisation of technical products requiring explanation as well as internal processes
- You act independently, reliably and in a structured manner
- You are a strong communicator and have good negotiating skills
- You work independently, efficiently and are fully capable of working in a team (hands-on mentality)
- You have sound knowledge in the areas of "materials science and materials engineering"
- You are flexible, resilient and always open to new ideas
- You are confident in using the latest MS Office tools, Inventor, Autocad, Gain and have experience in working with ERP systems
- You are business fluent in written and spoken English
- Your personal demeanour is appropriate for the position to be filled

- You know industrial technology: You have a technical education/degree in mechanical engineering/engineering, preferably agricultural engineering (heavy machinery)/agricultural science.
- You have strong negotiating skills. You know how to assert yourself against internal resistance. You love to win.
- You are a team player: You have your eye on the goal and know how to inspire your team and the company management. You are detail-, safety- and value-orientated.
- You focus on the customer: You are highly committed, self-disciplined and willing to travel internationally.
