Dorothy / Truxor

Dorotea Mekaniska AB is a Swedish company specialising in the manufacture of water maintenance machines and vehicles. Dorotea was founded in 1989 by Torbjörn Hahlin, initially specialising in machine servicing and welding work. Dorotea gradually specialised in the production of machines and amphibious carrier vehicles (Truxor model) for water maintenance. Today, Dorotea is the world's leading manufacturer in this field.

The Dorotea product range

The product range includes cutters and other accessories for water maintenance, reed mowers and amphibious vehicles. The company's flagship product is the Truxor amphibious vehicle, which has been in production since 1996. The Dorotea Truxor is a flexible vehicle that can be used both on land and in water. It is characterised in particular by its wide range of attachment options. The Dorotea Truxor amphibious vehicle is suitable for cutting reeds and seaweed as well as for a wide range of other work on and in the water. Thanks to its lightweight design, the Dorotea Truxor is also suitable for use on sensitive ground (nature reserves, golf courses). Since its market launch, the Dorotea Truxor has been continuously improved and its attachment options expanded. For example, the control system was updated for the 2014 model programme, making it even easier to operate the vehicle using a joystick. The current models in the Dototea Truxor range offer maximum driving comfort and a wide range of connection and attachment options for almost every conceivable type of work. Mowing vehicles used in special applications such as water maintenance are naturally exposed to high loads.
