Finger cutter bar

The cutterbars with finger cutterbars traditionally found in the field of oscillating mowing technology are preferably used for forage harvesting in agriculture. The product range of ESM Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik includes finger cutter bars in the "free cut" and "centre cut" versions. The cutterbars are equipped with the patented ESM Carbodux® knife blades and are designed for professional use. Both finger cutter bars are maintenance-friendly and easy to handle.

Areas of application and design of the ESM finger cutter bars

Blades can be changed quickly and easily thanks to hinged blade holders in the area of the mulching fingers. The guide clearance is automatically adjusted by simply folding down the blade holders and tightening the clamping screws. The slim design of the ESM finger mower bar makes it compatible with a wide range of mowing applications; it is ideal for clean forage harvesting in agriculture. The working width for long and short stroke is 1.32 m to 1.92 m. The choice of the correct finger pitch depends on the operating conditions of the finger cutter bar. The "normal cut" version is equipped with a finger spacing of 76.2 mm, the "centre cut" version with a finger spacing of 50.8 mm. The "free cut" version has been increasingly in demand and used in recent years. This special design of a finger cutter bar has fingers with a tip and lip in the centre area and has a row of mulching fingers instead of outer shoes. This ensures that there is no risk of blockages when driving through mown material that has already been cut. As an optional extra, ESM Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik offers outer shoes with swath plates for optimum swath formation.
