Frielinghaus GmbH is a traditional manufacturer of mower blades and agricultural machinery parts based in Ennepetal in North Rhine-Westphalia. The company's history dates back to 1867. It was in this year that the sheep shear smith Carl Theodor Frielinghaus set up his own business, laying the foundations for today's company.
As early as 1905, harvesting machine parts were added to the Frielinghaus programme, laying the foundations for the current production. In the 1960s, Frielinghaus began a process of modernisation and expansion. New buildings with modern production facilities gradually replaced the existing inventory. The company gradually grew and further expanded its product range. As part of this expansion, companies or parts of companies of other brands are also taken over. In 1993, various cutting technologies from BUSATIS, Hückeswagen were taken over by Frielinghaus and ESM Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik. Both companies benefit from these takeovers and continue to expand their production in the direction of professional mower knives and mower knife blades. In 2014, Frielinghaus GmbH takes over Härtetechnik Steinbach KG in Wuppertal as a wholly owned subsidiary.

The complex production process of mower blade manufacturing: stamping, grinding and milling, embossing and forging, heat treatment and coating is carried out entirely at the site in Ennepetal. The in-house laboratory guarantees comprehensive quality assurance: analogue and digital microscopes as well as other testing and measuring machines ensure the high standards that Frielinghaus sets for its products. This also includes fulfilment of the requirements for a quality management system in accordance with EN ISO : 9001.

The Frielinghaus product portfolio includes loader wagon knives, baler knives and flail knives. There are also rice kits, knife holders and pressure thumbs as well as knife guide plates and finger plates. Frielinghaus also offers beet knives, punched parts, rotor blades, feed mixer wagon knives, straw chopper knives, knife blades, mower knife blades and garden chopper knives. Rotor blade attachments, double blades, hard coatings, scarifying blades and lawnmower blades are also part of the product range. Customised blades and special parts are manufactured in-house and the entire range is continuously supplemented by innovative new developments.
