Areas of application for mowers with mowing buckets

Embankments that serve to secure the banks of watercourses must be regularly cleared of vegetation. Steep and densely overgrown embankments can often only be treated with the aid of a mowing basket combination. River banks and water-bearing ditches under municipal management, as well as irrigation channels used for agricultural purposes, can be impaired in their function by foliage and excessive plant growth. Naturally formed banks and bodies of water also require regular maintenance and cleaning using a mower with a mowing basket. Grass and other vegetation on lakes and shorelines is cut and removed from the embankment using the ESM special cutting units for the mowing basket. The mower with mowing basket can also be used to remove plants that are under the surface of the water. The mowing basket serves as a shovel for such operations, cutting unwanted plants or foliage from the water and lifting them out in the same operation. The combination of cutting unit and mowing basket is very effective in this area. The intervals at which the mower with mowing basket is used are usually once or twice a year. If the area is particularly overgrown or heavily soiled, or if more frequent mowing is required, the mowing frequency can be adjusted accordingly.
